Following the destructive hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017, the U.S. Virgin Islands Bureau of Corrections faced significant hurdles in managing their capital improvement projects. In need of professional assistance, they turned to the people at Fourth Strategies to implement a project management office and develop a forward-looking strategy for their construction project portfolio. The engagement with Fourth Strategies provided a comprehensive assessment, establishing clear project prioritization criteria and implementing a standardized portfolio tool.
